July 28th Thursday: This Morning Summer Great Yarmouth ITV1`

125.jpgBrian visits the second resort today in his series of Summer Venues for ITV1 This Morning when he hosts the This Morning outside broadcast from the beach at Great Yarmouth.

Once again music is provided by the Overtones, and joining Brian to host the show this week are Amy Childs and Matt Johnson. Imogen Thomas will once again be judging the 'Hunks in Trunks'.

Get yourself along to the American Diner outside Joyland by 10:00 am and join in the fun!



July 26th Tuesday:  Rehearsals at Elstree Studios.

Brian went to the Big Brother studios today to begin rehearsals for the forthcoming Celebrity Big Brother.

Brian tweeted ”In car on way to the BB House!!!Super excited and nervous!!!I'm nearly live on Ch5!!!”

Brian has done interviews with Star Magazine and New Magazine this week.

July 22nd Friday: Brian Dowling to Host Big Brother,


124.jpgBrian Dowling is thrilled to be announced as the new presenter for Big Brother 'one of the most talked about shows on TV', in its new home on Channel 5. The first show to air is Celebrity Big Brother which launches on Aug 18th directly followed by the regular edition which runs into early November.

Brian was thrilled to be Channel 5's first choice for this very prestigious role, and said how shocked he was to hear the job was his after many weeks of meetings and screen tests. When first told Brian said: ‘Oh my God! Are you sure?’! Keeping the news under his hat for 3 weeks he said was difficult as he was so excited, 'I am just so chuffed and struggled waiting to tell everyone.'

After the announcement Brian received a constant stream of support 122.jpgfrom friends fans and celebrities and ex housemates:

Keith Duffy (Boyzone) and Mark Feehily(Westlife) were amongst the many Irish celebrities to offer congratulations.

123.jpgEx BB1 Housemates Nick and Anna also offered congraulations. Anna Nolan writing in the Irish Herald said..'to see him in action in the studio is impressive, he is spontaneous, professional and naturally funny. He is a huge talent waiting to burst on to the screens.

In response to all the good wishes Brian tweeted. "Thank you all so much for all your love and support!!I won't let all you BB fans down!!Big Brother House this is Brian,you are live on Channel5......."

As for Brian's fellow BB pesenter of Big Brothers Bit On The Side Emma Willis he said. 'I’m really excited Emma’s on board,” “She’s such a gifted TV presenter. I’m hoping we’ll be a dream team together!

July 18th Monday: This Morning Summer - Brighton ITV1

121.jpgBrian will be presenting a Summer series of outside broadcasts for ITV1's This Morning, from various popular holiday resorts.

On Monday July 18th Stacey Solomon and Brian Dowling will kick off This Morning Summer with a live broadcast from Brighton Beach

They'll be joined by Imogen Thomas and Su Pollard, who will be searching for Brighton’s best Hunk In Trunks, breaking a world record, and chatting to special guest Dom Joly.

Everyone’s invited to join in the fun so head to Brighton rain or shine! Please arrive at 10am next to the Ohso Social bar and restaurant.

This is just the start of the fun - This Morning will be travelling to the country’s biggest and best beaches all summer.

At this moment no more locations are as yet confirmed but they may include Benidorm, Blackpool, and Great Yarmouth. so keep an eye out for news of the locations.

July 13th Wednesday: “Legally Blonde" The Musical Press Night.

Brian attended the Press night for the musical “Legally Blonde” at the Savoy Theatre London along with Denise Van Outen. Asked what he thought of the musical Brian replied "Amazing!!"

July 12th Tuesday: This Morning ITV1

Brian gives the midweek run down of all the soaps on today's “Soapbox”.

July 8th Friday: This Morning ITV1

Brian gave the weekend run down of The Soaps this morning on the ITV1 show, breaking the news that Pat Butcher/Wicks/Beale/Evans aka Pam St Clement was leaving Eastenders after 25 years.

July 6th Wednesday: ITV Summer Party, Notting Hill, London

Brian attended the ITV Summer party last night. The exclusive bash saw a host of ITV’s biggest names descend on North London, along with Ant and Dec, Holly Willoughby, Myleene Klass, Fearne Cotton, Fiona Phillips, Jenni Falconer and Dancing On Ice stars Emma Bunton, Chloe Madeley, Elen Rivas and Denise Welch.

Piers Morgan also made an appearance with his pregnant wife Celia Walden. He was joined by his former Britain's Got Talent colleague Amanda Holden and his replacement on the show Michael McIntyre.
