The Life of Brian
Brian has a four page feature in the November Issue of RSVP magazine, a top selling Irish glossy publication, very similar to Hello/OK magazines. In this issue Brian talks about his family, relationships and work, alongside a stylish fashion photoshoot. Pictures from the magazine can be seen in our GALLERY.
Pictures are now in the GALLERY from the Pride of Northamptonshire Awards which took place on Friday at Wicksteed Park, Kettering. Presented by Brian, it was a special evening where the unsung heroes of Northamptonshire were honoured in a special award ceremony help by the Evening Telegraph and Northamptonshire County Council.
On a night where 10 of the counties heroes were honoured, Brian said: "It's been quite emotional. "I'm keeping the script with me because there are so many great stories on it."
Brian is taking the starring role as Captain Hook in the Anthem Production of Peter Pan at the Tivoli Theatre in Dublin.
This is the first time that Brian has tread the boards, and he is very excited to be playing the part of a sexy Johnny Depp-esque Captain Hook, - a lovable rogue. In the past Brian has always turned down offers to do panto as he loves to spend his Christmas at home in Ireland with his family, however taking on this role in Dublin still enables him to carry on that tradition.
Producer Karl Broderick said casting Brian allowed him to spice up the character of the baddie Captain Hook. He said: "Brian's Hook is 'very spoilt' and self delusional. . . he actually believes he is the good guy. . . after all, isn't he trying to rid Never Never Land of the pesky teen, Peter Pan?"
All the favourite characters including Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Wendy, Hook and regular favourites Sammy Sausages and Buffy will be included in the Christmas time show.
From the Tivoli website

The ever popular Brian Dowling (Big Brother Winner, TV presenter & Failte Towers) will be starring as a very spoilt Captain Hook so expect tantrums a plenty.
