Welcome to Absolutely
the official website of TV presenter Brian Dowling!
Since winning Big Brother Series 2 in 2001 Brian has never looked back - going on to become an established TV/Radio presenter, voice over artist, corporate host and Panto star. Still universally loved, Brian was voted 'The Nation's Favourite Big Brother Housemate Ever 'by the public in 2005 2007.' In 2010 Brian received the supreme accolade of being voted the fans No1 housemate in C4's last series "Ultimate Big Brother".
Brian would like to thank everyone for their unconditional support over the years, saying he has 'the most amazing and loyal fans in the world'.
Brian's brilliant narration skills have one again been in demand, he is now the voice on the new Trouble TV series Celebrity Bodies.
Celebrity Bodies cheekily uncovers the secrets behind their public image through talking to the people closest and most influential to the stars. The 15-part series will focus on one celebrity per show, using their bodies as the map giving Trouble viewers VIP access to their favourite celebrities.
The Harrods 'Revel in Romance' exclusive Speed Dating event at which Brian compered on February the 13th & 14th was a huge success.
A spokesperson from Harrods said.....
"I am pleased to say that the Speed-dating event was extremely successful and in fact we have just received the 'match' figures: we had 14 matches on Friday 13th, 25 on Saturday 14th at the 2pm session and 69 on Saturday 14th at the 4pm session (Cosmo Party's new record!)"
There were also a number of photographs of the event taken by James Macauley which Harrods have kindly allowed us to include on the site.
These can be viewed on our forum HERE and also in our extensive GALLERY
Brian is to be the Celebrity Compere at the Harrods 'Revel in Romance' exclusive Speed Dating event.
The event to find the perfect Valentine's partner is being held in conjuction with Glamour Magazine, and is taking place on the 13th and 14th of February, with four sessions on each of the two days.
Lonelyhearts attending the event will be able to pick up styling tips from experts against a background of a live DJ spinning the most romantic sounds, plus there will be talent scouts from FM model agency on the look out for the next Kate Moss.
The site has today received this lovely message from Brian...
"Happy New Year to Christine and everyone at "Absolutely Brian".
Thank you for all your fantastic support in 2003, it really means a lot to me that I have such amazing people rooting for me! Hope you all enjoyed the last "SM:tv Live" and "Ho, Ho, Ho Selecta", they were great to record.
Have an amazing 2004!
Lots of love Brian x."

Brian, Tess, Cat, Dec, Ant, Shavaughn and Des all got together for the last ever SM:tv Live. It was sad to see the demise of the best ever Saturday morning TV show, that has dominated our screen for the past five and a half years.
Over the years the show became an institution for children, students with hangovers, and adults who just never grew up. With such memorable sketches as 'Chums', 'Big Bother', 'Casually' and 'Cat the Dog' and features such as 'Brian's Brain' 'Eat My Goal' and 'Splatoon', there was something for everyone.
During that time anyone who was anyone in the pop world, has at some time appeared in the SM:tv studios, including a few illustrious members of Absolutely Brian too, whose memories of their visits are days they will never forget.
After 279 shows it has sadly come to an end: but how fitting an end, that it was Mr SM:tv himself, Conor McAnally who finally swept up the last remnants of the celebration and switched out the lights for the last time. .......GOODBYE SM:tv we will miss you!
